Sales
How do I get a quote?
Contact us and we will prepare one for you. We usually need to ask a few questions to ensure our offer is appropriate to your needs.
Where is the price list?
We publish our price list for transparency, however it's intended as a reference for our sales engineers.
Where do you store our data?
Storage is located within New Zealand data centres owned by TelstraClear. These facilities are staffed 24/7 and typically used by government departments and corporates.
Is bandwidth included?
Each cloud server attracts a facilities fee to recover our datacentre and network costs. There are no variable fees for bandwidth unless your requirements are a significant proportion of the total bandwidth we purchase. If this happens, we will tell you in advance so there are no surprise invoices.
Our service is designed this way to make it easier for you to budget.
Do you offer short term deals?
Sure! We frequently spin up cloud servers to support product launches and other short term requirements.
Operations
How do I get answers to technical questions?
Visit our help desk and submit a request. You do not need to be a customer to do this.
What hours can we get help?
Our operations team are available 24/7 and you can submit a help desk ticket at any time. However we do sleep at night, so if you can wait until its light outside we appreciate it.
Billing
Can we pay a fixed monthly fee?
Our business is designed so you pay a fixed amount each month. Your monthly bill can change when you ask us to:
- Add or remove resources from an existing server
- Create or destroy a cloud server
- Request work that requires a human to expend time.
How are managed services billed?
Some are available as Management Features and have a fixed price each month. Currently this includes daily backups, hourly backups, server monitoring and operation system updates.
Other work requested (and approved by you prior to commencement) are charged at our standard per minute rate.
How Do You Invoice Us?
Invoices are generated on the last day of each month and delivered via email in PDF format. Your invoice contains:
- Cloud Server Fees for the following month
- Managed Service Fees for work requested by you in the current month
What forms of payment does Swizzle accept?
Our New Zealand customers pay by direct credit, Internet or telephone banking to our NZD account at the ASB Bank in Auckland.
When is payment due?
Your payment needs to appear in our bank account on or before the 20th day of the month in which it falls due.
We recommend loading your payment into Internet banking for the previous business day to ensure we receive the funds on time.
Can we have different payment terms?
If your accounts payable process requires a different payment date, or you are experiencing cash flow difficulties we are happy to negotiate a custom payment date for your invoices.
What happens if we are late paying?
Our policy is to make every reasonable attempt to contact you and ask for a payment plan. This ensures your server(s) stay running and we receive the money we are owed for the service we have been providing.
As a total last resort we may shut one or more of your servers down until we have re-established communication and have a payment plan in place.
